have developed affordable, must-have beauty products and accessories to alleviate your everyday blunders. It's basically a website to relieve stress over little beauty mistakes and items that come to your rescue when needed most!!
I got the Miss Oops! "Rescue Sponge" (Pictured above). This product was the one I could probably get a lot of use out of. The Rescue Sponge, an inexpensive, oops-proofing tool, immediately removes deodorant marks and makeup stains from your favorite blouse.
Now, I can't even explain to you how many times I get dressed for work, do the things I need to do to get ready to leave and put on my makeup/deodorant on AFTER the fact that I am already dressed. And usually when I do this I somehow always manage to get loose makeup powder, eyeshadow or deodorant marks on my shirt. That's probably the last thing I want to worry about when running late, is trying to look for a new shirt to wear.
So I decided to put this little sponge to the test. Here are photos before with deodorant smudged on my shirt.

Deodorant on your little black dress? Foundation on your blazer? NO TIME TO CHANGE?
Miss Oops has so many little items that are simple and just make so much sense. All of their products are easy to use and fix all of our very stressful common "oops".
This is a great one I will find myself using a lot. I wear black almost every day, and I am a cluts.
Easy and small enough to keep in your car or purse for when you suddenly realize you have a little oops.
STEP ONE- Locate your mess.
I found it!
STEP TWO- Rub with dry sponge.
Like a mad woman!
STEP THREE- Paint my nails.... Just kidding
But no really my nails are a mess.
STEP 3.5- Take a deep breath because your mess is gone.
...gone enough to go in public.
Yes this product will come in handy and save a lot of embaresment in a pinch.
HOWEVER, the mark was still visible. Very diminished, but surely visible.
Would I repurchase?
We will see how long and how often it takes me to use this one up and we will see.
Would I recommend it?
YES! I think every woman should at least give this a try.
Perfect for spicing up your upcoming Halloween costume, or wearing a night out and feel like being DARING! Paperself sent us some cool and very different eyelashes to try out and share with you girls.
I got the "Peacock" style ones. At first I didnt even realize that's what they were when I first noticed them, I thought they were just a funk design until Alyx pointed it out to me. So of course when applying them I had to do pretty blues, greens and purples for my eyeshadow.
They "are designed with intricate patterns inspired by the art of Chinese paper-cutting." You can use them as you do regular eyelashes and cut them to the length of your eyes OR you can cut off some of the design and use them on the outside corner your eyelid for a different look.
Now when applying them they were kind of difficult to get on without feeling like they were going to rip. Since they are made of paper you have to be extra gentle. Once playing with them I got them where I liked them but they were tall so it did bother me because they touched the upper part of my eyelid.
The designs and thought are great for dressing up to the extreme, but for me personally I wouldn't use them unless for a themed like party or Halloween for sure :)
You can purchase these at Sephora if this is something you find you'd like to try! $19
I love when coming to a site like this and wanted to share. We are guessing you love makeup
since you're on our blog, so we wanted to show you a site where it's EASY to find what your looking for or even discover new products or brands that you didn't know of before. This website has tons of products and when you click on an item, it brings you to another page that show's you a graph that has it's "price history". Isn't that neat? I thought so and went through checking the patterns of the prices of different brands I like and use a lot.
Not only that, but if you enter a product it also tells you a store where you could find that product with the price and you can click a little button next to the item that says 'see it' and it actually brings you right to the website that sells it! Which I thought was convenient. They have more than just makeup on there too, I was playing around and finding all sorts of new things. I'd check it out if it sounds like something that would interest you.
This little gadget was sent to us by Budgetgadgets.com
(This website has SOOO many cool gadgets for every persons needs!) It's a heated eyelash curler that's simple to use and is really inexpensive. Now I never used regular eyelash curlers because for me, they just never seemed to do anything for my lashes...and felt like a pointless extra step in my makeup routine. But when Budget Gadgets offered to send us a heated
eyelash curler, I must admit, I was kind of intrigued if it would do anything different than a regular one.
The reason why I felt that this would work better than any regular old eyelash curler is, well, because your eyelashes are hair, and just like the hair on your head you can style it using HEAT! Now if you look back on some recent posts you can see how my eyelashes are small (but growing thanks to Lashem) but don't have much of a curl at all! So I gave this tool a chance to work some magic.
Now I don't know about you, but I can see a pretty big difference in the curl of my lashes and they even look longer from the front because of the curl that the heat from the curler did.
So is this easy, quick and inexpensive to do!? Yes, Yes and Yes! All you need to do is put in two AAA batteries, slide up the little button on the front of the curler, and when the little silicone strip fades from red to clear, your ready to put it at the base of your lashes and hold it for 10-15 seconds! That's literally it! So simple and so easy to help make your lashes look like they have shape and look longer!
It doesn't get to hot either to where you may burn yourself and is very comfortable to hold. Only advice I give is to make sure it is fully heated before using and to use BEFORE
you apply mascara!$2.59 Visit BudgetGadgets.com and enter the code bmsr5off, when you shop in their website, you will get 5% off discount site-wide!! Click HERE to get one!
Although I have long lashes, they are stick straight... and when I tell you I have probly tried around 40 or 50 different lash curlers in my short life, I mean it.
When seeing the $2.59 price of this curler, I did not expect much.
... but I shouldn't have judged a book by its cover, because it did a great job at curling my lashes, which makes them appear longer and fuller.
I will definitely be adding this a step in my every day routine from now on.
It heats up fairly quickly, doesn't burn my eyes, or pinch my skin, is easy to use and fits very comfortably in my hand.
My only negative is that it is fairly flat, and i have a more curved, round eyeball. I could see this working perfectly for someone with almond shaped eyes, or Asian eyes.
Again dont forget, if you are intirested in this or any other BudgetGadgets.com product, be sure to enter the code bmsr5off at checkout and you will get 5% off discount.
Having flawless makeup is not always easy to achieve, especially when you have some unwanted facial hair. Getting a salon wax, or electrolysis ARE SOO PRICEY! So... what is a girl to do with little cash and lots of "-stache"?! Read on.
Hot wax can burn your sensitive facial skin, so I like to play it safe and use pre-waxed strips. My favorite is Nad's hypoallergenic, fragrance free, facial wax strips for sensitive delicate areas.
The pack I have is 24 strips and is only $15.30. THATS LESS THAN $1 a stache!!!
I tend to wax my upper lip every two weeks or so, but your hair growth will probly vary.
All you need to do is clean and dry your face, rub the wax strip in your hands to warm, peel, stick, rip and hair free!!!!
I was sent these cool little items to test out and give my honest opinions on. The product is called BrytonPick. The first thing I noticed was the packaging and size of the product. They are length of a pointer finger and the pouch they come in is the size of a credit card and firs in any wallet, purse, or pocket. So good feeling about this so far because of how portable it is and you can literally carry it around with you all the time! (No bulky floss containers) And for fun it comes in a variety of colors!
As I was reading through the information I got, I learned that the pick is made of a flexible stainless steel, which makes it germ resistant, and one pick can be used up to 30 days! Pretty impressive I must say. This saves us money and is good for the environment, less waste. So what does this product actually do for you? Well instead of whipping out a string of floss and going through your teeth somewhere public (gross) you can use this convenient device to get rid of unwanted food in between your teeth, reduce plaque and bacteria buildup, prevent bad breath and it stimulates proper oral hygiene So even if you didn't have floss you won't have to reach for those other random items like paperclips to get out that stuck food. How to use:1. Keep mouth open in a smiling position2. Gently insert either-end between teeth3.SLIDE between teeth INSIDE-OUTRecommended for ages 10 and up and also works well with braces!
Kids will want to try this because it's "cool" looking! So after using the pick for a few days I can tell you it does it's job and made my mouth feel cleaner and definitely got out anything I had in my teeth after a meal. At first i didn't like
noise it made when I first used it, that metal scraping sound. But I got used to it and it's no problem now. It is very flexible but I did manage to cut my gums once, it didn't hurt but I saw a little blood. It's a product that may take a couple times using to get the hang of but it does what it claims to do and is 100x better than busting out floss or credit card to try to pick at your teeth! Plus rinsing it with hot water and tucking it away back in the pouch and in my wallet is great! Try it out if you have the chance. These can be found at CVS, RiteAid, Meijer, Amazon.com and more!
