I'm going to start this review off with telling you that your makeup is only as good as the brushes you use. Because it's 100% true. Crappy brushes = crappy application and irritation if they are not soft. I think you can NEVER have to many brushes. I use a lot of different colors all the time whether it be eyeshadow, blush, bronzer or lip colors, so I get tired of cleaning them all the time, so I stock up on a few of each brushes. But then what happens? They take up way to much space on my desk and looks cluttered. Klix contacted us and wanted us to try out their brush set. I was very interested in hearing about these and trying them out because the concept is GREAT. I wasn't sure how they would be quality wise, so when they arrived I was sure to test them out right away and have used them for a few days now.
Let me explain this awesomeness to you guys. "Klix Make UP Brushes with replaceable heads ensure flawless make up application along with protection from blemish causing bacteria. The brush heads can be replaced with the click of a button. Make up brushes harbor bacteria, oils and make up residue that can cause blemishes and skin infections if not properly cleaned. According to a recent survey." So literally there is a button on the end of the brush you push and the top pops off and you can pop on a new top and easily switch between colors, while also avoiding bacteria buildup and getting pimples! How genius is that?

The recyclable (cruelty free) brush heads are made out of EXTREMELY soft, synthetic bristles, which makes it easy to see when they need to be replaced. These brushes evenly applied my makeup and gave a real natural look to my makeup and I found myself just dusting the bristles all over my face because of how soft they were. I even showed my sister and she tried taking them from me!
Also, what I love most about these is the convenience of traveling with these. All you need to do is bring one handle and any of the tops you want for the powder & the blush brush because they fit on the same handle, so it makes it super easy and saves space! Again, I wish I had these a long time ago!
The only small downfall I could find with these is that the concealer brush head doesn't fit on the other handles, so you would need to bring that handle with you as well. It'd be super if they all fit on one size handle. But that's the only thing I could find that was a bummer. Other than that these are a STAPLE in my brush collection now. The softness and the way it applies my makeup is better than any other brushes I have used. The softness will amaze you!

I mean, come on.... who has the time to clean their makeup brushes every day? Not me! That's for sure! I have a super busy life, as I'm sure you do too! With Klix brushes you just click and go.
These brushes have a high quality black plastic handle equipped with super cool spring action! When your disposable white synthetic hair top gets yucky, you just push the button, and all the makeup, dirt and germs get launched off! Just click on a new brush head, and resume your application!
"Klix is a smart new line of cosmetic brushes that offers the FIRST makeup brush that you NEVER have to clean. Klix replaceable, recyclable makeup brush heads are made from cruelty free white hair that allows you to easily see when a replacement is needed."
I am super excited about these brushes. I cant wait to bring them to a shoot or show where i need to do more than one model. I wont need to waste precious time cleaning brushes, and nobody will have to worry about contamination! These are a must have for every makeup artists kits.
I find that I can clean these, and they stay together fairly well, so you can wash them when its convenient for you, and switch out the tops when you don't have the time. But since these bristles were made to be disposed, they stain, which is no problem for me, but may be a concern for you.
AND GIRLS!!!! DON'T THROW THE DIRTY ONES IN THE TRASH! PLACE THEM IN YOUR RECYCLING BIN. Help our beautiful earth stay beautiful while keeping your skin looking beautiful.
