Barefoot Venus - Luscious Lemon Lip Fable

Barefoot Venus was nice enough to let us pick out a few things from their website. 

Barefoot Venus is a Canadian company that sells cute, vintage inspired bath and body. Everything I have tried smells heavenly and left my skin silky smooth and hydrated.

The Lip Fables come in a super cute drawstring bag that matches the name and fragrance of your balm. This would be great if you were giving as a gift. The wrapping is already done for you.

I chose to review one of their super cute "Lip Fables"

Lip Fables are scented lip balms in slide top tin containers. They currently have eight different scents to choose from. Honey, Red Licorice, Luscious Lemon, Bazooka, Knock out mint, Cherry crush, Gingerbread and Cotton Candy.

99-100% natural. 

As you can see from the above two pictures, Lip Fables come plastic sealed so you can be sure that nobody has stuck their fingers in your balm. =)

Each Lip Fable has their own cute label. The Luscious Lemon label consists of a cute girl with a head full of lemons and flowers.

" Soothe and moisturize lips with this highly emollient lip healer. Jojoba seed oil, shea butter fruit, meadowfoam oil and grape seed oil seriously helps heal dryness and relieve roughness, so however you choose to tell the tale you say it with super-soft lips. " says the Barefoot Venus website.

Ingredients List-
Glycine soja (soybean wax), Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Bees wax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Eupatorium Rebaudianum Bertoni Leaf Extract (Stevia), natural and/or syntehteic fragrance oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Tocopherol (Vit E). 

Lip Fable tins easily slide open to reveal your balm. The seal is tight enough to keep all the dirt and lint that lives in your pockets out of your product.

Luscious Lemons is a great balm. It has been living in my pocket, and purse for a while now. It barely looks like I've made a dent in it though. This balm isn't smooshy, its tough enough to stay a solid and not get messy, yet smooth enough to get a good amount on your finger. It doesnt melt in my pocket from my body heat either (which ive had problems with chapsticks doing)

With 4 full grams of balm, you wont run out anytime soon.

It leaves my lips soft and oh so slightly shiny. Will last on my lips for around 2-3 hours before reapplication is necessary.

The scent from the tin is sweet. Almost like the lemon of a lemon poppy seed muffin. When applied, you get more of a sour pinch from it. Not overpowering, but a nice refreshing juicy lemon smell. 

Overall-
I am super impressed with Barefoot Venus in general, as well as their Lip Fables. Cute packaging, the highest quality natural ingredients and great customer service. 

The best thing is, their prices are super affordable!

This would be a great gift for anyone. They have so many types of products and so many delicious scents.
