Liquid Blue's Biker T-Shirts!

4/5/2012

Do you have any friends that ride Bikes or just love that biker/punk look to their clothes?  When I came across this product for review from Liquid Blue Biker Tshirts, I instantly knew my fiance would be excited to have this. He tends to like the whole skull/America look. Sure enough when I told him about it he asked me a few times if it was in yet. <3
They carry a bunch of different style shirts geared towards Bike riders but anyone can wear them! Their shirts have a blank design on the front and all the detailed graphics on the back of the shirt. This is because when riding on a bike, the only part of the shirt visible is the back! (They do have some seriously funny ones too)

Here is what Tomy had to say about it after a few wears:

Thank you for the t-shirt. The shirt fits true to size. The design is screen printed in the back and even with a few washes it still has not cracked or ruined. However the shirt seems to bunch up around the neck area in the back
and create a small hump. I assumed it was the tag and removed them but it still bunches up. The design is pretty cool and very patriotic which I love but the shirt only has a design on the back and it appears to be a blank t-shirt from the front which I found strange. I am satisfied with the shirt and I will continued to wear it. On a scale of 1-10 I rate the shirt a 7.

Thank you
Thomas.

After telling Tomy these shirts are designed for bikers he gave a big "ahhh!" noice and then got why the front was blank. Even though he now knows why the front was blank, he still thinks it'd be nice to have a little something on the front....maybe even the brands logo in the corner just so it isn't so bland if your looking at it from the front. I have caught him wearing this three times already. I knew he'd love it ;)

Glam Party Looks for Less! (Guest Post)

4/4/2012

Just because the holidays are over, it doesn’t mean you have to put away your party frocks! The only dress I want to wear once is my wedding dress, so you bet I’m going to get lots of use out of my holiday party fashions. Whether it’s a full-on dress, or mix and match pieces, you’ll be able to wear these all year long.

Ladies, anything sparkly, shiny, or sequined is a must-have. You can go bold or keep it simple; either way works. If you can’t bear to stray away from a LBD, why not get one with a little glitz? The same goes for tops – a little glitter can go a long way, and you’ll definitely catch everyone’s eye.

If you’re not one for sequins, there are still other fab choices for party apparel. Keep your look classic and chic with a colorblock tunic or a grey fitted dress, paired with some black tights, and add some funky accessories for the ultimate party look.

If you need something to pair with a tunic or top, go bold with some eye-catching leggings or skinny jeans. There are a variety of printed leggings, or ones embellished with rhinestones and studs, that will compliment your look. If color is your thing, check out colored denim. Colorblocking is on trend, and you’ll be able to get multiple wears from these!

Finally, you need to finish the look! Don’t let your clothes get all the attention; break out some hot shoes too! Bootie heels are definitely cute, and keep your feet a little warmer than traditional pumps. Plus, they look lovely with just about anything! Wedges are also great, and this black pair with just a little gold trim are classy and cute.

To complete the look, you need a fabulous clutch. Pick something small and easy to open, but something that will hold all the goods. Neutral tones work well with anything, but don’t be afraid to pick something bright or with prints, especially if you’re rocking a LBD.

Hopefully these pieces can give you some ideas for your own party outfit! What will you be wearing, and what parties are you attending in 2012?

I fell in lovee with the idea of these when I took them out of the little pouch! I could see myself wearing a dress or black off the shoulder shirt with these shiny rhinestone bra straps showing! Adding such a statement to any shirt!
Be careful with delicate fabrics with the rhinestone straps as they can snag onto some fabrics. Mine did a little bit when taking them out of the pouch. But other than that they are surprisingly comfortable and sparkly and perfect for summer!!

They offer free shipping for orders over $50, a free gift with orders of $75 and over. Then when you spend $50 or more, 5% of that goes to this charity.
