This little gadget was sent to us by Budgetgadgets.com   (This website has SOOO many cool gadgets for every persons needs!) It's a heated eyelash curler that's simple to use and is really inexpensive. Now I never used regular eyelash curlers because for me, they just never seemed to do anything for my lashes...and felt like a pointless extra step in my makeup routine. But when Budget Gadgets offered to send us a heated eyelash curler, I must admit, I was kind of intrigued if it would do anything different than a regular one.
The reason why I felt that this would work better than any regular old eyelash curler is, well, because your eyelashes are hair, and just like the hair on your head you can style it using HEAT! Now if you look back on some recent posts you can see how my eyelashes are small (but growing thanks to Lashem) but don't have much of a curl at all! So I gave this tool a chance to work some magic.

Now I don't know about you, but I can see a pretty big difference in the curl of my lashes and they even look longer from the front because of the curl that the heat from the curler did.
So is this easy, quick and inexpensive to do!? Yes, Yes and Yes! All you need to do is put in two AAA batteries, slide up the little button on the front of the curler, and when the little silicone strip fades from red to clear, your ready to put it at the base of your lashes and hold it for 10-15 seconds! That's literally it! So simple and so easy to help make your lashes look like they have shape and look longer!
It doesn't get to hot either to where you may burn yourself and is very comfortable to hold. Only advice I give is to make sure it is fully heated before using and to use BEFOREyou apply mascara!

Although I have long lashes, they are stick straight... and when I tell you I have probly tried around 40 or 50 different lash curlers in my short life, I mean it.

When seeing the $2.59 price of this curler, I did not expect much.

... but I shouldn't have judged a book by its cover, because it did a great job at curling my lashes, which makes them appear longer and fuller.

I will definitely be adding this a step in my every day routine from now on.

It heats up fairly quickly, doesn't burn my eyes, or pinch my skin, is easy to use and fits very comfortably in my hand.

My only negative is that it is fairly flat, and i have a more curved, round eyeball. I could see this working perfectly for someone with almond shaped eyes, or Asian eyes.

Again dont forget, if you are intirested in this or any other BudgetGadgets.com product, be sure to enter the code bmsr5off at checkout and you will get 5% off discount.

Having flawless makeup is not always easy to achieve, especially when you have some unwanted facial hair. Getting a salon wax, or electrolysis ARE SOO PRICEY! So... what is a girl to do with little cash and lots of "-stache"?! Read on.

Hot wax can burn your sensitive facial skin, so I like to play it safe and use pre-waxed strips. My favorite is Nad's hypoallergenic, fragrance free, facial wax strips for sensitive delicate areas.

The pack I have is 24 strips and is only $15.30. THATS LESS THAN $1 a stache!!!

I tend to wax my upper lip every two weeks or so, but your hair growth will probly vary.

All you need to do is clean and dry your face, rub the wax strip in your hands to warm, peel, stick, rip and hair free!!!!

I was sent these cool little items to test out and give my honest opinions on. The product is called BrytonPick. The first thing I noticed was the packaging and size of the product. They are length of a pointer finger and the pouch they come in is the size of a credit card and firs in any wallet, purse, or pocket. So good feeling about this so far because of how portable it is and you can literally carry it around with you all the time! (No bulky floss containers) And for fun it comes in a variety of colors!

As I was reading through the information I got, I learned that the pick is made of a flexible stainless steel, which makes it germ resistant, and one pick can be used up to 30 days! Pretty impressive I must say. This saves us money and is good for the environment, less waste. So what does this product actually do for you? Well instead of whipping out a string of floss and going through your teeth somewhere public (gross) you can use this convenient device to get rid of unwanted food in between your teeth, reduce plaque and bacteria buildup, prevent bad breath and it stimulates proper oral hygiene So even if you didn't have floss you won't have to reach for those other random items like paperclips to get out that stuck food.

How to use:
1. Keep mouth open in a smiling position
2. Gently insert either-end between teeth
3.SLIDE between teeth INSIDE-OUT

Recommended for ages 10 and up and also works well with braces! Kids will want to try this because it's "cool" looking!

So after using the pick for a few days I can tell you it does it's job and made my mouth feel cleaner and definitely got out anything I had in my teeth after a meal. At first i didn't like noise it made when I first used it, that metal scraping sound. But I got used to it and it's no problem now. It is very flexible but I did manage to cut my gums once, it didn't hurt but I saw a little blood. It's a product that may take a couple times using to get the hang of but it does what it claims to do and is 100x better than busting out floss or credit card to try to pick at your teeth! Plus rinsing it with hot water and tucking it away back in the pouch and in my wallet is great! Try it out if you have the chance. These can be found at CVS, RiteAid, Meijer, Amazon.com and more!
